Chris began his career at Willis in 1991, on a 2-year graduate trainee program. Originally working for Willis Aerospace and then transferring into the North American Reinsurance Department in the second half of this training program. Promoted in 1996, Chris attained senior broking responsibility on a number of Property and Casualty accounts. He was responsible for placing and developing some of the Willis’s major international clients, broking these accounts in both the London and international markets.
He relocated in New York for two years in 1997 with executive responsibility for major accounts within the North American reinsurance team.
In 2006, Chris was transferred, again internally, to Willis Re’s new Bermudian office with specific account responsibilities for US and Bermudian based clients and ensuring proper local representation for Willis’ clients on the Island.
He joined Amlin Bermuda in December 2015 shortly before becoming MS Amlin in February 2016. Chris is Lead Underwriting for the North American Catastrophe and Risk accounts and became Chief Underwriting Officer MS Amlin AG Bermuda Branch in January 2019.
Chris earned a 2:1 B.A. with Honors, majoring in Economics, from Manchester Metropolitan University. He received his Lloyd's Market Certificate and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
