MS Amlin enhances its presence in Asia by appointing new construction underwriter
MS Amlin has appointed Steve Ng Ka Chuen, as Senior Construction Underwriter in the Singapore office. Steve will be responsible for the development and growth of MS Amlin’s construction business across the Asia Pacific region.
Steve joins MS Amlin with over 14 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance underwriting, with a major focus on Construction. He most recently served as Senior Underwriter for Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in their Engineering Lines, Global Corporate team. Other positions have included Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte. Ltd. (ACR) and Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc (RSA)

Steve Ng Ka Chuen, forms part of the regional Singaporean team, as well as joining the highly experienced and longstanding Construction team, based in London. The team underwrites a diverse range of construction projects across a broad range of industrial sectors, including Buildings, Infrastructure, Oil/Gas, Transportation and Power Generation. The team is supported by dedicated Risk Engineering and claims teams.
