Syndicate 2001 Portfolio Transfers

In February 2023, MS Amlin announced a Reinsurance To Close (“RITC”) agreement with Riverstone International (“RiverStone”) for all liabilities in our portfolio for 2018 and prior years of account.  Alongside the RITC we also confirmed a 100% Quota Share arrangement (“QS”) for our discontinued lines, for 2019-2021 years of account.

As of 2nd October 2023, RiverStone has assumed operational responsibility for the transferred portfolio.

Transaction scope

The transaction with Riverstone has two primary elements.  The RITC includes liabilities for all MS Amlin product lines and policies for 2018 and prior.

The QS covers the discontinued product lines for the 2019-2021 years of account.
