MS Amlin commits to recall market with new Lead Underwriter appointment

MS Amlin is delighted to announce that Ed Mitchell has joined as Lead Underwriter for the Product Recall team.

Based in London, Ed is responsible for developing innovative recall solutions that will meet the increasing reputational, regulatory and operational risks faced by clients today. The account will be written on a worldwide basis, covering a broad range of industry sectors and signals MS Amlin’s intention to be more active in the recall market.

An established specialist in his field, Ed joins MS Amlin with over 20 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance markets. He most recently served as Global Head of Recall for XL Catlin, where he led one of the largest books in the global product recall market. Other underwriting positions have included roles at Beazley and Gen Re and broking experience gained through Marsh and Sedgwick.
