MS Amlin partners with clinical psychologist Dr Bill Mitchell on World Health Day
To celebrate World Health Day and increase awareness of MS Amlin’s strategy to support the health and wellbeing of its staff, the company will be hosting clinical psychologist Dr Bill Mitchell at its offices on 16th April, 2019.
Here at MS Amlin we understand the importance of health and wellbeing and encourage our employees to bring their ‘best self to work’.
Dr. Mitchell will host a live interactive session for all employees with the aim of giving them the practical skills to develop their personal Energy and Resilience. The session aims to help individuals build and enhance control in their lives by:
- Understanding the pressures and dynamics of the modern workplace
- Benchmarking their energy and resilience
- Enhancing their psychological fitness
Martyn Rodden, Chief Risk Officer and Executive Sponsor of a programme of wellbeing activities across MS Amlin, commented: “Looking after our health and wellbeing is of upmost importance and should be an active process. Dr Bill Mitchell is a clinical psychologist who works with contemporary, cognitively-based approaches to treating work-related psychological difficulties: recognizing that many people work in circumstances that can easily lead to the loss of balance to life. He lectures on the Kings College London MSc programme on Mental Health Studies, and is a visiting lecturer at the London Business School
